Typovision

I know I've written before about my annoyance with the on-screen guide that is part of my AT&T U-verse service, and lamented the fact that I can't channel surf without encountering typos, run-on sentences, and even the occasional nonsensical program description. But a picture is worth a thousand words (or so the less literate among us would have you believe), so behold!

Flordia . . . it's like Florida, but with more bloody shark rampages!

Snork! laughing...sometimes I annoy myself (or my hb?) by reading signs or billboards and shouting out "That's not correct! It should be...."

I do that too, Kathryn (BTW, you and my mom spell your names the same way). But I prefer to think of it as "enlightening" my hubby rather than "annoying" him. Just the other day, thanks to my regular outbursts of "enlightenment," he pointed out what he thought was a grammatical error. Of course, because he has yet to achieve full "enlightenment," he was wrong--so I used the opportunity to further "enlighten" him by explaining his error.

Oh thank God! Here I thought I'd have to avoid the waters off Florida. ;))
