Typo and the City

Today, against my better judgment, I went with some friends to see Sex and the City 2. There is a lot I am willing to put up with in exchange for a little girl time: I overcame my distaste for what passes for "style" and my general dislike of Sarah Jessica Parker. I overlooked the almost universally horrible movie reviews. I paid for mediocre food and an overpriced margarita (the theater we went to was a "movie tavern").

But I very nearly got up and left the theater when "writer" Carrie Bradshaw submitted an article to Vogue with the title "The Terrible Two's."

I have a vision of a snarling, foaming at the mouth, matted-fur beast of a two. What could it possibly own that anyone would want to hear about? And why didn't she explain that in the title? Sheesh.

ACK!!!! That would do it for me, too. I want to see that movie like I want root canal. Same thing - general dislike for SJP, whose "personal style" that's being touted hither and yon is the result of a stylist's work, not her own personality. Sorry, she may be a nice person, but I've had it up to HERE with it.

I wanted to stand up and shout, "THE TERRIBLE TWO'S WHAT?!?!? WHAT DOES THE TWO POSSESS?!?" .

I believe that the central theme to SJP's "style" is ever-visible bra straps

It's hard to believe that no one working on the film noticed the typo. I'm also surprised they didn't get more flack for it on the web and elsewhere. Unbelievable.
